  • Men's Ministry Meeting

After our summer hiatus, we're renewing our Men's Ministry with an exciting men's meeting, which will take place in the parlor after service this Sunday, September 24, 2017, so come join us!

  • Hurricane Irma Relief

Converge has many churches in Florida and in the Caribbean islands that are in the process of recovering from the destruction caused by Hurricane Irma.

As church leaders and members of their congregations minister to others in the aftermath of one of the largest storms on record, many of them are facing the same circumstances as those they are serving.

Please pray for these communities, and consider donating to the Hurricane Irma Relief Fund.

  • Tiny Tots Is Back!

Once again, Tiny Tots will be meeting every Wednesday and Thursday morning from 9:30 - 11:30AM during the Wellesley school year. Tiny Tots is a free program for children birth to 4 years old, where they and their caregivers can enjoy a fun time of crafts, Bible stories, songs and snacks. Come join us for a time of relaxed play and fun!

  • Converge Annual Meeting

The Converge Northeast Annual Meeting will be on October 14 (9:30AM - 2:00PM, lunch included) in Avon, CT. The meetings are extremely short on business, and long on stories of what God is doing through us in New England and around the world. The cost is $20. Let Pastor Kohl know by October 1 if you are going to be joining him for this day of fellowship.

  • Future Options Discussion

There will be a discussion during the Fellowship Hour on Sunday, October 22, 2017 to learn more about our options for obtaining our next permanent pastor. We will NOT be debating which option is best at that meeting. Members will hopefully leave that meeting with more information about the options and the inspiration to pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance over the matter. At a future date (yet to be determined) we will have debates and votes to help us to discern the will of God in a congregational manner. Please get a copy of the Pastoral Options Report and read it in advance of the meeting.

  • Update Your Contact Information

A new church directory will be published in October. Please check your contact information in the current directory (dated May 2017), and if anything has changed, please call the church office or email the church secretary with the new information. Thanks!

  • Adult Enrichment Resumes

Adult Enrichment classes have resumed! We’re continuing the DVD series Dust to Glory, by R. C. Sproul. Dr. Sproul gives an overview of each book of the Bible with clarity, humor, and deep insight. Feel free to join us in the library on Sunday mornings at 9:45AM for a wonderful time of teaching and discussion. You can always come right in, even if you haven't attended previous classes!

  • New Church Secretary

Rachel Cobleigh has taken over for Carole Nason as the new church secretary. Feel free to call Rachel at the church office if you have any questions.

  • Transitional Prayer Requests

Over the next few months we will need to have a very serious discussion about how we sense God wants to fill our need for a new, permanent pastor. In order to hold this discussion we are going to need some high-functioning relationships, a lot of prayer, and hearts that listen to what the Holy Spirit says through the congregation. Pray that we will be fully relationally and spiritually prepared for those discussions. If there are are any walls erected that would hinder our communication, pray that the Lord will enable us to tear down those walls so that our congregation is "striving together as one person for the faith of the gospel" (Philippians 1:27).
